Container size. Drop Off Storage offers 16ft and 20ft containers. Compare the container dimensions with your inventory; actual capacity depends on item size and packing.

Rental duration. Ask how billing periods, minimum terms, extensions, and partial periods are handled before booking.

Delivery distance. Most local providers charge a delivery fee based on how far they need to drive. If you're close to the provider's base, you'll pay less. Box Elder, Weber, Cache, Davis, and Morgan county customers typically fall within our standard delivery zone.

Provider and service scope. Compare quotes for the same container size, dates, delivery distance, transfers, storage location, and pickup. A lower base rate may not represent the same service.

What to Watch Out For

Hidden fees. Some companies quote a low base rate and then add fuel surcharges, "environmental fees," lock fees, and pickup charges. Always ask for an all-in quote that includes delivery, monthly rental, and pickup. That's the number that matters.

Forced upsells. Some companies push climate-controlled upgrades that most people don't need for standard household items. Unless you're storing wine, electronics, or fine art, a standard steel container handles Utah's weather just fine.

Minimum rental periods. Most companies require at least one month. If you only need a container for two weeks, some providers won't accommodate that. Ask upfront.
